Desecration of the Holy Quran and our responsibilities
Rather, (the disbelievers) say, "He is confused in his mind," but it is he who has deliberately turned away from it; indeed, he is a poet. Sometimes, they mockingly jest with Quranic verses along with him.
The Quran is revealed by Allah (God) Almighty.
No one besides Allah can produce a scripture like this. Indeed, it is a confirmation of what was [revealed] before it and an elaboration of the [previous] Scriptures.
Certainly, in the Noble Quran, Allah Almighty has designated it as His own speech, as guided by divine instruction:
This verse emphasizes that if a polytheist seeks protection from you (O Prophet), you should grant it to him until he has the opportunity to hear the words of Allah.
The Noble Quran is an immensely great blessing from the Lord Almighty. It is the foundation of guidance.
"And whatever favor is [bestowed] upon you from Allah, then indeed, it is Allah whom you should remember. And what has come down to you from the Book and wisdom, He admonishes you with it. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Knowing of all things." (Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:231)
The Quran is a source of great blessings. Reciting and acting upon it brings blessings, as the Quran itself is a source of blessings. As Allah has guided: "And whatever favor is [bestowed] upon you from Allah, then indeed, it is Allah whom you should remember." Remembering Allah's favors includes recognizing the blessing of the Quran, which provides guidance and wisdom.
First Responsibility:
It is essential for us to hold the Quran close to our hearts, change our perspectives according to its guidance, and introduce our new generation to the Quran. Instead of the Western education system, connect them to the Quran and Hadith, so we and our future generations remain safe from the deceitful trials and challenges and can confront the deceptive strategies effectively. Therefore, there is a dire need to promote Quranic education classes. This work will make the Quran a lifeline and, according to its every command, will not change our lives. If we accomplish this, no blasphemer will dare to challenge us. It is our weakness that we have considered this revolutionary book as a book of reward and restricted it to only mosques and madrasas.
Second Responsibility:
We should imprint the sanctity of Quranic commands with our actions so profoundly that the sacred commands of the Quran become the most potent foundation for our actions. We must be so vigilant against any misconduct or shortcomings related to the Quran that no practical discrepancy or blasphemy ever arises from us. The primary aim of the desecration of the Quran is to weaken Islam, while acting upon the Quranic injunctions will elevate the status of Islam.
Third Responsibility:
We should have a sincere intention to spread the Quranic message far and wide in every corner of the world. We need to make comprehensive lists of such products from blasphemous countries and, after thorough research, publicize these lists. In the economic field as well, we should express our strong protest.
Fourth Responsibility:
Record our protests on every occasion so that the governments are compelled to cut diplomatic ties with blasphemous countries in the face of public outrage.
Fifth Responsibility:
Use every means, such as banners, posters, articles, letters, emails, phone calls, media, etc., to make the masses aware of the sanctity of the Quran and our protest. The objective of this awareness campaign should be to turn the tide against those who insult Islam, just as non-Muslims have united and organized themselves for their nefarious purposes. This issue cannot be resolved until Muslims, in the name of love for the Quran, do not unite and strengthen their bonds, as the central point is the love for the Quran and the example of the People of the Quran. This mutual unity should be used as a working model.
